Meeting with representatives of the European Consumer Center and ADR bodies within the framework of the project "Consensus NETS"

On 03.06.2024, a meeting of the project team "Consensus NETS" was held in Sofia with representatives of the European Consumer Center - Sonya Spasova - Director, Anita Kamenova - Lawyer, as well as Ignat Arsenov - Director of the General Directorate "Market Control" of the Consumer Protection Commission and with representatives of organizations involved in consumer protection. The topic of the meeting was the establishment of a Network of bodies and organizations in Bulgaria related to consumer protection and providing consultations to citizens in connection with the implementation of their consumer rights. The status of the network and the rules for membership were discussed. A Memorandum of Partnership was prepared, to which organizations wishing to work to increase the effectiveness of the consumer protection system in Bulgaria can join.
