On 30.09.2024, the implementation of the "Network for Efficiency, Change and Sustainability "Consensus NETS" project, funded by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EISMEA) of the European Union, was completed. For 18 months, a team of experts worked together with colleagues from ADR bodies and civil society structures to increase the capacity of ADR bodies and in particular the CARS "Consensus", by developing both internal documents regulating document flow and the recruitment and training of conciliators, and a joint document for the development of the "Consensus NETS" Network. 6 meetings were held to prepare the documents and to build a coalition and partnerships. CARS "Consensus" offered representatives of the CSO training on the topic "Legal and organizational aspects of the consumer protection system in Bulgaria and the EU. Alternative dispute resolution bodies." The Center's team, together with lecturers from the Consumer Protection Council, conducted a two-module training for conciliators, combined with a mentoring program. As a result of the training, the list of conciliators at the Center increased by 5 new colleagues, full of enthusiasm to work for the protection of consumer rights.

CARS "Consensus" initiated the first competition in the country "Guarantor of Consumer Rights 2024!". Two traders - participants in the competition - were awarded free advertising on social networks.

The developed promotional materials - newsletters, brochure and video will be used after the end of the project to present the center and its activities, as well as to attract partners.
