Association "CENTER FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION CONSENSUS" is a non-governmental organization, registered in 2010, operating in the public interest. The association brings together specialists from various scientific and practical fields, united in their efforts to provide timely prevention of the problems of modern times faced by children and young people.
The team of the association develops didactic materials to support social service providers and their specialists working with children with disabilities. It conducts analyses of legal regulations and provides recommendations for reforms and legislative changes aimed at improving administrative practices. The association also organizes broad information campaigns on its key topics.
In 2020, as a result of a successfully implemented project funded by the Operational Programme "Good Governance" and based on an idea by the organization’s experts, an independent unit was established within the association to review consumer disputes and work towards strengthening the consumer protection system in Bulgaria.
In 2021, the Center was included in the list of alternative dispute resolution bodies maintained by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, and was also registered on the European Commission’s platform for online consumer dispute resolution.
CENTER FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION "CONSENSUS" is a structural unit of the Association "Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution CONSENSUS", whose mission is to promote ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF DISPUTE RESOLUTION – RECONCILIATION AND MEDIATION – as the most direct path to quick, effective, and cost-efficient resolution of disputes.

This approach typically results in unresolved issues, leaving parties offended, bitter, and with negative generalizations about one another and the involved institutions.
