On 25.06.2020 at 11.00 a.m. in the city of Varna, at the Aqua Hotel, a round table was held, to which representatives of the CPC- RD-Varna and the General Conciliation Commission-Varna were invited, as well as representatives of the business community in the city of Varna and the region. The event is part of the project "General and Sectoral Conciliation Commissions of the CPC - Civil Control for Efficiency" in implementation of Contract No. BG05SFOP001-2.009-0128-C02, which is implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program "Good Governance" under the procedure "Increasing civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation". Unfortunately, the RD of the CPC-Varna did not show interest in participating in the forum. After the presentations by the experts, in which they presented the results of their research and the recommendations made for restructuring the CPC, the event took the form of a constructive discussion and proposals for formulating incentives for businesses to participate in conciliation procedures, as well as separating the control functions of the CPC from those for conciliation of traders and consumers.
