THE NETWORK OF BODIES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION OF CONSUMER DISPUTES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION IN BULGARIA "CONSENSUS NETS"
The network is an independent, autonomous, informal structure open to partnership between bodies for alternative dispute resolution of consumer disputes, consumer associations, trade associations and all steckholders involved in the process of providing fast, effective and accessible protection of the rights and interests of consumers, by ensuring an impartial and expert process, when applying alternative dispute resolution methods.
On 30.09.2024, the implementation of the "Network for Efficiency, Change and Sustainability "Consensus NETS" project, funded by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EISMEA) of the European Union, was completed.
The "Guarantor of Consumer Rights 2024!" Contest has ended. The team thanks the participants in the contest and wishes them all success in their activities and that they be subject to correctness and protection of consumer rights.
On 02.08.2024, a roundtable "Cooperation between stakeholders in the process of providing effective consumer protection" was held at the Grand Hotel Sofia, a final event under the "Consensus NETS" project, in which representatives of the management of the Consumer Protection Commission and the sectoral commissions, consumer organizations, the European Consumer Center, the Institute for Conflict Resolution, the Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives, the statistical agency "Global Matrix", and the National Association of Mediators took part

On 03.06.2024, a meeting of the project team "Consensus NETS" was held in Sofia with representatives of the European Consumer Center - Sonya Spasova - Director, Anita Kamenova - Lawyer, as well as Ignat Arsenov - Director of the General Directorate "Market Control" of the Consumer Protection Commission and with representatives of organizations involved in consumer protection.
On 21.05.2024 in Varna, in the "Odessos" hall of the "Cherno More" hotel, a training for mediators was held. The training was attended by 15 participants who had successfully completed the first module of the training and the mentoring program between the two modules.
